Notes:   Kham Deridare constructed this lightsaber as the final step in his Jedi training two years after the Battle of Endor.  After seeing his wife cut down in battle, Kham joined the ranks of the Rebellion shortly after the Battle of Hoth.  His natural Force aptitude was discovered by Commander Skywalker, but initial training was difficult, as Deridare still carried a good deal of rage over his wife's death.  However, after having seen his share of the Dark Side and finally coming to grips with his grief, SpecForce Major Deridare is now a fully realized Jedi Knight. 

Kham's saber, built from scratch, has a unique combination control that houses both the blade activator and variable length settings, making size alterations a simple and quick task.  Its grooved durasteel casing is covered by a deep red Gundark hide handgrip.  It features no ring or clip.
